He already was a legend since a long time ago, but the truth be told, numbers must be put there for those to come in the future. Popovich reached 1.128 wins with the Spurs and he overcame Jerry Sloan (Utah) as the coach with more wins for a single franchise.
He has been Spurs head coach for a while (since 1996/97 season), having conquered 5 NBA rings. He is charismatic in and out of the court.
